updating watershed issues.

B. Consider approval of the amendment to the subdivision agreement for Pine
Summit 1 st Addition and autho�ize the Mayor and City Clerk to fully execute this
agreement.

C. Consider approving a change order in the amount of $1,676 with Sylvander
Heating inc. for the installation of a RPZ valve and other miscellaneous
plumbing associated with the hook up of a new water softener at the Cottage
Grove Ice Arena.
Staff Recommendation: Approve the change order. The City had purchased the waPer softener
this past winter, and due to the amount of plumbing and the need of a back flow preventer valve
required for the insfallation, Sylvander Heating Inc., who is contracting for other work in the
arena, was contacted to do the work as part of a change order.
p. Gonsider authorizing execution of a grant agreement between the City of
Cotfiage Grove Department of Public Safety and the Minnesota Department of
Public Safety for Weed and Seed Funding and authorize Chief James E. Kinsey
to execute such agreements and amendments as are necessary to implement
the project on behalf of the Cottage Grove Police Department.
Staff Recommendation: Adopt a resolution authorizing execution of the agreement.

G. Consider adopting the resolution setting a public hearing date of August 2,
2000; approving the feasibility report and construction plans and specifications
for the northwest roadway (new G�endenning Road) within the industrial park;
and setting a bid opening date of August 10, 2000, at 11:00 AM in the Council
Chambers of City Hall.
Staff Recommendation: Adopt the resolufion.
H. Consider approving a conditional use permit for an oversized accessory
structure to allow construction of a 32-foot by 32-foot garage addition onto an
existing 1,836 square-foo4 garage at 10700 – 80th Street South.
Staff Recommendation: Adopt a resolution approving the conditional use permit for an
oversized accessory structure at 10700 — 80th Street South.
{. Consider approving the 2000-2001 Labor Agreement with AFSCME Council No.
14, representing the Clerical Bargaining Unit.
Statf Recommendation: Approve fhe agreement. There will be re-openers for wages and the
employer cafeteria plan contributions for 2001, but the ofher terms are fhe same as previously
approved by Council in March.
J. Consider authorizing a donation of $4,000 from the gambiing contribution fund
to the Cottage Grove Jaycees for their annual 4th of July fireworks display.
Staff Recommendation: Authorize the contribution. Please note thaf the total amount
contributed to the Jaycees from the City of Cottage Grove will be $4, 337.83, of which $337.83 is
from citizen donations.
K. Consider accepYing citizen donation of cash in the amount of $110 for the Great
Grove Get Together and Cottage Grove Jaycees Community Celebrations.
Staff Racommendation: Adopt a resotution accepting the donations of u�110. The donafions will

the northeast corner of 70th Street and Jamaica Avenue.
Staff Recommendation: Adopt the reso/ution approving the simple lot division of a 22-acre
