B. Approve an interfund transfer from the MSA Fund (520) to 1995B Improvement
Bonds (470), 1999B Improvement Bonds (578) to 1999 Improvements (557)
and Completed Construction (500) to 2000 Improvements (558).
Staff Recommendation: Adopt a resolufion approving fhe interfund transfers.
C. Adopt a resolution approving an interfund transfer from Water Area (575),
Sanitary Sewer Area (580) and Storm Sewer Area (585) to 2000 Improvements
(558), 2001 Improvements (559) and 1998 Improvements (556).
Staff Recommendation: Adopf a resolution approving an inferfund transfer from area funds to
consPruction fund for infrastructure costs from subdivisions thaf were constructed during 1999
and 2000.

the purchase of one new 16-foot dual-axel trailer in #he amount of$4,280.00,
and to authorize an expentliture of up to $1,&50.00 #o install shel�ing in the
traiier and purchase #he hitching equipment.
Staff Recommendation:Accept the quote from:Ron Becker O/tlsmobile. This trailer would
replace fhe van currently usetl for Special Response Team duties by bofh the;Cify of Cottage
Groue and fhe City of Woodbury. Both cities wou/d purchase and maintain their own trailers and
SRT equipment separately.

UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS
A. Consider utilizing Street Division budget surplus to pave approximately 30,000
square feet of parking area at the Public Works shop for needed hard surface
storage.
Staff Recommendation: Approve fhe utilrzation of the budget surplus for the paving of the
parking area at Public Wo�ks.
B. Consider denying the request by Thompson Land Development for a major
amendment to the PUD approval to allow a twinhome development on a portion
of the Pine Summit Additio� development previously approved for single family
and to create larger lots for some single family homes, and a site plan review of
the proposed twinhome development.
Staff Recommendation: Adopf the resolution denying fhe major amendmenf to the PUD
approvaf of Pine Summit Addition and fhe site plan review.
C. Consider placement of a traffic semaphore at the western intersection of 80th
Street and Hemingway Avenue South.
Staff Recommendatron: Deny the requesf for a fraffic semaphore per Public Safety Director's
recommendation.
D. Consider receipt of the Metropolitan Council Livable Communities Committee
recommendation regarding the City's Smart Growth Application witn the
Metropolitan Council, and cor�sider directing staff to inform the Metrapolitan
Council of agreement with the position of the Committee.

**E. Discuss speed study on Hadley between 95th and 103rd Streets and determine
the direction to proceed with the State by passing a motion for either Option 1
