Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the installation of stop signs on Jasmine Avenue, 91 st Street and 92nd Street where it intersects Jeffery Avenue. Consider approving a 2000 — 2001 Labor Agreement for Police Officers with the Gity of Cottage Grove. Staff Recommendation: Approve the agreement. This is the same contract fhat was previously approved on June 21, 2000, with the exception fhaf language regarding wages, insurance, and P.O.S.T. licensing has been added as per the arbrtration award of November 27, 2000. G. Consider authorizing issuance of liquor licenses for 2001 for the following establishments: Boondock's Bar & Grill, Cottage Grove VFW Post 8752, Cub Foods, DeMori's, G-Will Liquors, MGM Liquor Warehouse, Mississippi Dunes Goif Links, New Moon Restaurant & Sports Bar, Rainbow Foods, River Oaks Golf Course, Rodeo, Shamrock �iquors, Superamerica #4183, a�d Food 'N Fuei #5688. Staff Recommendation: Issue liquor licenses subject to compliance with State and Local Liquor Laws, satisfactory completion of police and fire invesfigations/inspections, and payment of alI outstanding financial obligations by 12:00 p.m. (noon), Friday, December 29, 2000. H. Consider adopting a resolution accepting the donation of a thermal imager from 3M to the Cottage Grove Fire Department, and thank 3M for their generous contribution. Staff Recommendation: Adopt the resolution accepfing the donation. This equipment enhances the Fire DepartmenYs ability to protect lives and property; it gives firefighfers the abrlity to enter smoke-filled buildings and other limited-visibility situations with an added measure of safety. Consider ordering the preparation of a feasibility report for the Thompson Grove Pavement Management Project District-D for 2002 — 2004. Consider approving an amendment to Section 4-2-6 of the City Code relating to mixed solid waste and recycling, and the Request for Proposal to advertise for and retain a third waste hauler. Staff Recommendation: Approve the amendment fhat no more than three residential dwelling/recycling licenses shall be rssued under this Chapter. Approve the RFP to retain a third waste hauler. Q. Consider authorizing the use of MIS carry forward in the equipment repiacement fund to purchase a 20-platter jukebox to increase the permanent storage capacity of the MIMs document imaging system.
