A. Accept and Place on File the Following Minutes:

B. Consider approving the plans and specifications and establishing a June 9,
2005 bid date for the Gateway Storm Sewer Improvements Project.
Staff Recommendation: Adopt resolution approving plans and specifications and establishing a
June 9, 2005 bid date for the Gateway Storm Sewer Improvements Project.

C. Consider approving the plans and specifications and establishing a May 26,
2005 bid date for the Mississippi Dunes Phase 2 Utility, Street and Street
Lighting Improvements Project.
Staff Recommendation: Adopt resolution approving plans and specifications and establishing a
May 26, 2005 bid date for the Mississippi Dunes Phase 2 Utility, Street and Street Lighting
Improvements Project.
D. Consider authorizing the Water Supply and Distribution Plan Update to address
the major issues of growth, phasing and financing of proposed improvements.
Staff Recommendation: Authorize the Water Supply and Distribution Plan Update as outlined in
the proposal from Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates for a total amount of $39, 775.00.
E. Consider authorizing the Surface Water Management Plan Update to include
developing a master hydrologic model for rate control and water quality issues
for the entire City.
Staff Recommendation: Authorize the Surface Water Management Plan Update as outlined in
the proposal from Bonestroo, Rosene, Ander/ik & Associates for a total amount of $49, 900.00.
F. Consider awarding the 2005 Bituminous Trail System Micro Resurfacing Project
to Gopher State Sealcoat in the amount of $38,493.25.
Staff Recommendation: Award the 2005 Bituminous Trai/ System Micro Resurfacing Project to
Gopher State Sealcoat.
G. Proclaim May 24 – June 6, 2005 as "Buckle Up, Cottage Grove—Click it or
TickeY' in Cottage Grove.
Staff Recommendation: Proclaim May 24 — June 6, 2005 as "Buckle Up, Cottage Grove--Click
it or TickeY' in Cottage Grove, to demonstrate and reaffirm our commitment to buckling up and
arriving alive to our destinations.
H. Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the City to enter into an agreement
with the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic
Safety.
Staff Recommendation: Authorize the City to submit the grant application to the Department of
Public Safety and adopt a resolution authorizing the execution of a grant with the State of
Minnesota, Department of Public Safery, O�ce of Traffic Safety.
I. Consider accepting donations in the amount of $1,125.00 on behalf of the
Public Safety, Fire and Recreation Departments for the 12th Annual Youth
Safety Camp.
Staff Recommendation: Adopt the resolution accepting donations in the amount of $1,125.00 on

J. Consider adoption of proclamation establishing Public Works Week, May 15 –
21, 2005.

K. Consider purchase of one new Bomag Model 413 Tow-Type Paver from
Ruffridge-Johnson Equipment Company for a total price of $35,677.50 including
trade-in and sales tax.
Staff Recommendation: Approve the purchase of one new Bomag Model 413 Tow-Type Paver
from Ruffridge-Johnson Equipment Company for a total purchase price of $35, 677.50.
L. Consider purchase of one New Holland LB110.B Tractor Loader/Backhoe from
Carlson Tractor and Equipment for a total purchase price of $61,983.00
including trade-in and sales tax.
