OPEN FORUM - 7:15 P.M.
Persons may address the City Council on subjects that are not a part of the Regular Meeting agenda,
but must limit remarks to two (2) minutes. Open forum will adjourn to the Regu/ar Meeting promptly at
7:30 p.m. Open Forum and a portion of the Regular Meeting are televised LIVE, airing on Government
Channel 16.

A. Accept and Place on File the Following Minutes:
i. Planning Commission Meeting Minutes from February 26, 2007.
ii. Public Safety, Health and Welfare Commission Meeting Minutes from January
16, 2007 and February 20, 2007.
iii. Parks, Recreafion and Natural Resources Commission Meeting Minutes from
February 12, 2007.
B. Accept donations in the amount of $1,775.00 on behalf of the Public Safety, Fire and
Recreation Departments for the 14th Annual Youth Safety Camp.
Staff Recommendation: Accept donations in the amount of $1,775.00 on behalf of the Public Safety, Fire
and Recrea6on Departments for the 14th Annual YouYh Safety Camp.
C. Consider ratifying the appointment of David Thiede as Chair of the Planning
Commission.
Staff Recommendation: Ratify the appointment.
D. Consider approving a conditional use permit ailowing Sprint/Nextel to add
communication antennas to the stem of the 3M water tower at 10746 Innovation Road.
Staff Recommendation: Adopt the resolution approving the conditional use permit allowing Sprint/IVextel to
install antennas to the 3M water tower.

E. Consider adopting a resolution entering into a Limited Use Permit for the purpose of
construction, operating and maintenance of pedestrian trails within the right-of-way of
TH 61 along Jamaica Avenue.
Staff Recommendation: Adopt the resolution entering into a Limited Use Permit for the purpose of
construction operation and maintenance of pedestrian trails within the nght-of-way of TH 61 along Jamaica
Avenue.
F. Consider authorizing staff to apply for a Shooting Range Grant from the Minnesota
Department of Natural Resources for the Pine Tree Pond Archery Range.
Staff Recommendation: Authorize staff to apply for the grant.
G. Consider adopting a resolution to amend the City of Cottage Grove Cafeteria Plan for
employees.
Staff Recommendation: Adopt the resolution.
*H. Consider ordering the abatement for property at 7763 Lamar Avenue South.
Staff Recommendation: Adopt the resolution and order for abatement for propedy at 7763 LamarAvenue
South.

A. Consider awarding the contract for the West Point Water Main Extension Project to
Hydrocon, Inc. in the amount of $135,794.00.
Staff Recommendation: Adopt the resolution awarding the contract to Hydrocon, Inc. in the amount of
$135,794.00. Hydrocon, lnc. submitted the lowest of l3 brds received.
8. UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS
""A. Consider adopting a joint resolution with the City of Woodbury supporting public health
for local citizenry in regard to PFBA contamination.
Staff Recommendation: Adopt the resofution.
