CITY OF COTTAGE GROVE MINNESOTA To: Honorable Mayor and City Council From: Joe Fischbach, Management Analyst � Date: February 6, 2008 Subject: Extension of Terms for Two Public Works Commission Members David Anderson and Roger Finnegan have terms on the Public Works Commission that will expire on February 28, 2008. Because of term limits they are ineligible for reappointment to another term. Councilmember Fred Luden and Staff Liaison Les Burshten are in the process of finding residents to fill these two soon to be vacated seats. However, this may not be done before the end of February. Staff is recommending that the terms of David Anderson and Roger Finnegan be extended for three months or until replacements can be found, whichever is sooner. Council Action: Approve or deny the term extensions of David Anderson and Roger Finnegan for three months or until replacements are selected, whichever is sooner.
