Wilson '�" � January 18, 2008 REQUEST AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE 800 MHZ RADIOS FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT We are currentiy updating our radio system along with ail municipalities in Washington County. Budget preparations were made for 2007-2008 for the radios and equipment to be purchased. Half of the radios were purchased out of 2007 budgeted monies. In 2008, I am requesting the remainder of the radios be purchased for $108,309.82. Installation of the radios will be scheduled for June 2008 per the scheduie at Washington County. We are currently under the budgeted amount and anticipate a savings this year as well on this purchase.
