Planning Commission Meeting Minutes from August 24, 2009. B. Consider adopting a resolution amending Sections 14 and 17 and adding Section 30 to the Personnel Policy. Staff Recommendafion: Adopf the resolufion. C. Consider approving a 2010 pay plan for Non-Represented Employees. Staff Recommendation: Adopt the resolution approving the pay plan. D. Consider authorizing issuance of a single-occasion gambling permit to Cottage Grove Elementary PTO Inc. to conduct a raffle at Cottage Grove Elementary School, 7447 65th St S, on October 23, 2009. Staff Recommendation: Authorize issuance of the srngle-occasion gambling permit. Consider adopting a resolution approving final payment in the amount of $15,008.30 to Gladstone Construction, inc. for Bid Package 3— Bid Division 10 — General Construction/Demolition. Staff Recommendation: Adopt the resolufion and final payment. The contractor, Gladstone Construcfion, Inc., in accordance with the contract plans and specifications, has satisfactorily completed the work. F. Consider adopting a resolution approving final payment in the amount of $94.25 to Twin City Acoustics, Inc. for Bid Package 3— Bid Division 19 — Acoustical Ceilings. Staff Recommendation: Adopt the resolution and {inal paymenf. The contractor, Twin City Acoustics; Inc., in accordance with the contract plans and specifications, has satisfactorily completed the work. G. Consider adopting a resolution approving final payment in the amount of $8,220.08 to S.G.O. Roofing and Construction, LLC for Bid Package 3— Bid Division 12 — Roofing and Flashing. Staff Recommendation: Adopt the resolution and final paymenf. The contractor, S.G.O. Roofing and Construction, LLC, in accordance with the contract plans and specifications, has satisfactorily completed the work. H. Consider authorizing staff to accept the quote from Trane Company in the amount of $10,351 for instaliation of infrared bleacher heat in the west rink of the Cottage Grove Ice Arena. Staff Recommendation: Aufhorize staff to accept fhe quote. 1. 1. Consider deciaring costs to be assessed and ordering the preparation of the proposed assessment roll for the removal of hazardous conditions at 9195 — 79th Street South. 2. Consider calling a hearing on the proposed assessment for the removal of hazardous conditions at 9195 — 79th Street South. Staff Recommendation: 1. Adopt the resolution declaring costs. 2. Adopt Yhe resolution calling the hearing. J. Consider adopting a resolution accepting the donation of $100.00 from Calvin and Linsay Scholten and a donation of $125.00 from Noreen Steinbrecher, for a total donation amount of $225.00 (in memory of Roger Steinbrecher) to the Cottage Grove Department of Public Safety, Emergency Medical Services Division, to be used toward the purchase of an Automated Externai Defibrillator (AED). Consider amending fees for: (1) Licenses/Permits; (2) Land Use/Development; (3) Administrative Fees (4) BuildinglConstruction Permifis; (5) Utilities; (6) Street Lighting; (7) Public Safety; (8) Parks and Recreation; (9) Ice Arena; and (10) Golf Course effective January 1, 2010. Staff Recommendation: 1. Pass Ordinance amending the attached fees efFective January 1, 2010. 2. Adopt Resolufion authorizing publication of the ordinance establishing these fees by title and summary. L. 1. Consider approving a variance to aliow a 30-foot by 28-foot accessory structure to be constructed closer to the front property line than the principal structure at 8039 River Acres Road. 2. Consider approving a variance to reduce the front yard setback from the 30-foot minimum to 20 feet at 8039 River Acres Road.
