This is the third change order for this contract. The contract addition was accounted for in the previous Council update on the Ice Arena budget. The additions are for demolition of curb to accommodate a new curb location, bituminous patching adjacent to curb line, additional class 5 material for grading at the front entrance, grading and seeding of temporary egress ramp, erosion control and removal of rock from staging area. The change order also provides for a $4,332.00 deduct for a credit related to the wear course paving at the front entrance to the facility and also a $281.00 deduct for damaging a sanitary sewer pipe in the existing rink while digging footings. Recommendation: It is recommended to approve Change Order #6 for the total addition of $10,888.05.
