RESOLUTION NO. 2009 -XXX
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT FOR ATTENDANCE OF
THE 2009 STATE HISTORIC PRESERVATION CONFERENCE
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Historic Society held the Annual State Historic
Preservation Conference on September 17 and 18, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the City of Cottage Grove is a certified local government (CLG) with
the State Historic Preservation Office; and
WHEREAS, CLG's are required to send a representative to the Annual Historic
Conference; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Historic Society provided grants to fund attendance at
the conference; and
WHEREAS, the City' Historic Preservation Officer, John M. Burbank, applied and
was approved for a $130 grant to attend the conference.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Cottage
Grove, County of Washington, State of Minnesota, accepts the $130 grant from the
Minnesota Historic Society to fund the attendance by John M. Burbank at the 2009
State Historic Preservation Conference.
