Burbank, Senior Planner DATE: May 14, 2010 RE: Appointment of Parks Commission Members Introduction There are currently two vacancies on the Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources Commission, one unexpired term that ends on February 28, 2011, and one youth seat. Douglas Butler has applied to serve on the Parks Commission and Chelsea Butler applied for the youth seat. Councilmember Grossklaus and Parks Commission Chair Poncin have recom- mended that Douglas Butler be appointed to fulfill the unexpired term that ends on February 28, 2011, and that Chelsea Butler be appointed to the youth seat. Recommendation Appoint Douglas Butler to fulfill an unexpired term on the Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources Commission, which ends on February 28, 2011. Appoint Chelsea Butler to the youth seat on the Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Commission.
