M M F DUE ♦ltlt_l CITY OF COTTAGE GROVE MINNESOTA TO: Mayor and Members of the City Council Ryan Schroeder, City Administrator FROM: John McCool, Senior Planner DATE: July 16, 2010 RE: Proposed Vacation and Discontinuance of a Utility and Drainage Easement — Continue the Public Hearing to August 11, 2010 A public hearing was scheduled for July 21, 2010, to vacate and discontinue a public utility and drainage easement that is located on property that will eventually be subivided in Pinecliff 3rd Addition. This utility easement is ten feet in width and is centered on a prop- erty boundary line that bisects Lennar Corporation's next phase for the Pinecliff develop- ment. A map showing the location of this easement is attached. Scheduling this public hearing was going to coincide with Lennar Corporation's final plat application for the Pinecliff 3rd Addition. Since the final plat is not ready for City Council action, we recommend that the public hearing vacating the utility and drainage easement be continued to August 11, 2010.
