Transmitted herewith is a copy of the Bid Tabulation for your information and file. Copies will also be distributed to each Bidder once the Project has been awarded. There were a total of six Bids. The Bid received from Halverson Concrete, Inc. was determined to be non - responsive and not included in the Bid Tabulation. The following summarizes the results of the five remaining Bids: The low Bidder on the Project was Hardrives, Inc. with a Total Base Bid Amount of $986,588.53. This was approximately 21% under the Engineer's Estimate of $1,250,000. The reduced project cost will result in an anticipated assessment reduction of $400 -$500 per unit for the Pine Coulee and Countrywood neighborhoods and $1,100- $1,200 per unit for Howard's Addition. These Bids have been reviewed and found to be in order. If the City Council wishes to award the Project to the low Bidder, then Hardrives, Inc. should be awarded the Project on the Total Base Bid Amount of $986,588.53.
