RESOLUTION NO. 2011-
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY
REPORT FOR THE 2012 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROJECT FOR AREAS
C1 AND C3
WHEREAS, based upon the Council's acceptance of the Capital
Improvement Plan, the next step in the development process is the preparation
of a feasibility report; and
WHEREAS, it is recommended at this time to determine the physical and
economical feasibility of providing the necessary public improvements.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Cottage Grove, County of Washington, State of Minnesota, that a feasibility
report for the 2012 Pavement Management Project for areas C1 and C3 be
authorized.

Authorization of Feasibility Report
The next scheduled Pavement Management Area as outlined in the Capital Improvement Plan
are two areas; 1) Area bound by east of Jamaica, north of 80 Street, west of Kingston (Cl)
and 2) Area south of Kingston and north of 80 Street (Jenner, Jocelyn and 79 Street) (C3).
As part of the feasibility report improvements will be reviewed for trail expansion or
improvement to project area.
Discussion
Feasibility Report: The next step in the project development process is the preparation of a
feasibility report. It is recommended that the feasibility report be ordered at this time to
determine the physical and economical feasibility of providing the necessary public
improvements.
Recommendation
It is recommended the Council adopt a resolution authorizing the preparation of a feasibility
report for the 2012 Pavement Management Project for areas C1 and C3.
