RE: Environmental Commission Work Plan 2012 -2015
The attached draft work plan incorporates the items and priorities from the October 12,
2011, work session. Please review the items for consideration closely:
1. Cover — do you want a special cover with graphics for the work plan?
2. Do you want graphics incorporated into the document? If, so what type?
3. Do you want to describe each task in the plan in more detail?
4. Do you want to describe the long -term planning efforts in more detail or put a
specific time frame with them?
5. To ensure the continuity in tone, we should work as a group on the introduction
for each section: Permits and Regulations, Policy, and Education.
6. Need to focus on the how to evaluate the tasks and effectiveness.
The goal of the meeting is to provide final direction to staff to complete the end product
for approval at the next Commission meeting. The approved work plan will be forwarded
to the City Council for adoption.
