Levitt, P.E., City Engineer Date: January 10, 2012 Re: Stantec and S.E.H.— 2012 Rate Schedule Background: The City currently has municipal engineering contracts with Stantec (formerly Bonestroo) and Short Elliott Hendrickson (S.E.H.), Inc. The professional services agreement contains the billing rate schedule in Appendix E, which is appended annually. The firms are proposing a zero percent increase for engineering services for 2012. The firms acknowledge the challenging economic times and financial constraints that cities are facing. This is the fourth year in a row with no increase in rates. Discussion: The performance of both firms during 2011 has been found to be acceptable and they are performing very well for the City of Cottage Grove.
