growth and long term stability of the community and
surrounding areas through the preservation of
natural and historic resources and the built
environment for an enhanced quality of life.
The Building Division provides quality customer
service, technical information, permit processing,
inspections and code enforcement to ensure safety
and compliance with State and local standards for
the community and surrounding area.

Continue Rental Housing inspection /licensing
program
Aggressively monitor foreclosed properties, doing
what we can to return those properties to private
ownership.
* Continue to expand neighborhood code enforcement
efforts
Safety Inspections
Continue to provide service to St. Paul Park,
Newport and Denmark Township
Conduct periodic neighborhood reviews for permit
compliance
Ensure close out of permits in a timely fashion
