WHEREAS, in order for the City to accurately determine the costs associated with improvements to East Point Douglas Road, and WHEREAS, this road will ultimately connect into Ravine Parkway through the Cottage View site, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to prepare a feasibility report for the construction of the water, sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements to serve the proposed area between the VFW and CSAH 19, and WHEREAS, it is recommended the MSA Fund initially cover the cost of the feasibility report until development occurs, and WHEREAS, following development and project development the cost of the feasibility report will be part of the total project cost and the costs will be recovered and reallocated to the necessary funding as outlined in the feasibility report. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Cottage Grove, County of Washington, State of Minnesota, is authorizing the Resolution for the preparation of a feasibility report for the East Point Douglas Road and Utility Improvement from the VFW to CSAH 19. Discussion Feasibility Report: The next step in the project development process is the preparation of a feasibility report. It is recommended that the feasibility report be ordered at this time to determine the physical and economical feasibility of providing the necessary public improvements.
