WHEREAS, Based upon the Council's acceptance of the Capital Improvement Plan, the next step in the development process is the preparation of a feasibility report, and WHEREAS, it is recommended at this time to determine the physical and economical feasibility of providing the necessary public improvements. WHEREAS, the City desires to assess the cost of said improvements to all benefited properties; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Cottage Grove, County of Washington, State of Minnesota, that a feasibility report for the 2013 Pavement Management Project for areas C1 and C2 be authorized. Levitt, P.E., City Engineer Date: July 16, 2012 Re: 2013 Pavement Management Authorization of Feasibility Report Background The next scheduled Pavement Management Area as outlined in the Capital Improvement Plan are two areas; 1) Area bound by east of Jamaica, north of 80 Street, west of Kingston (C1) and 2) Area north of Indian Boulevard, south of 70 Street between Joliet Avenue and Janero Avenue and Indian Boulevard between Jamaica Avenue and CSAH 19 (C2). As part of the feasibility report improvements will be reviewed for Kingston Park and other trail expansion opportunities in the project area. Discussion Feasibility Report: The next step in the project development process is the preparation of a feasibility report. It is recommended that the feasibility report be ordered at this time to determine the physical and economical feasibility of providing the necessary public improvements.
