CALL TO ORDER — Mayor PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE — ROLL CALL — City Clerk ADOPTION OF AGENDA 2. PRESENTATIONS A. Strawberry Fest Ambassadors. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 4. CONSENT CALENDAR A. Accept and Place on File the Following Minutes: i. Advisory Committee on Historic Preservation Meeting Minutes from January 10, 2012 and May 8, 2012. B. Consider authorizing issuance of a single-occasion gambling permit to the Nuevas Fronteras Spanish Immersion Parent Teacher Student Organization to conduct bingo on November 9, 2012 at 7830 80th Street South. Staff Recommendation: Authorize issuance of the single-occasion gambling permit. During the required background investigation, no facts were found that would constitute a basis for denial of the application. SEPTEMBER 19, 2012 AGENDA Cottage Grove City Council C. Consider adopting a resolution accepting the donation of $100.00 from Alerus Mortgage on behalf of Mat and Kaitlin Lewis to the Cottage Grove Department of Public Safety, Police Division, to be used as needed. Staff Recommendation: Adopt the resolution. D. 1. Consider declaring costs to be assessed and ordering the preparation of the proposed assessment roll for the removal of hazardous conditions from private property. 2. Consider calling for a hearing on the proposed assessment for the removal of hazardous conditions from private property. Staff Recommendation: 1. Adopt the resolution declaring costs and ordering preparation of the assessment roll. 2. Adopt the resolution calling the hearing. E. 1. Consider calling a hearing for October 17, 2012 on the proposed assessment for the removal of noxious weeds and plants from private property. Staff Recommendation: 1. Adopt the resolution declaring costs and ordering preparation of the assessment roll. 2. Adopt the resolution calling the hearing. F.
