Re: DONATION FROM CITIZEN ACADEMY PARTICIPANTS
On September 27 the 2012 Cottage Grove Police Citizen's Academy had their
final night of the 8 -week academy. While recognizing their efforts and
accomplishments they asked to make a brief presentation to Sgt Martin.
The participants of the 2012 Citizen's Academy presented the department with a
check in the amount of $160.00. The participants wanted to make the donation
to the Cottage Grove police department on behalf of their appreciation of Sgt
Martin's efforts as well as all officers that participated in the academy.
They asked that the donation be used within the police department for any needs
that we felt appropriate ranging from training to equipment.
We were honored by their generosity and are very appreciative of their donation.
Attached is resolution accepting donation from the 2012 Citizen's Academy
participants on behalf of the City of Cottage Grove Police Department.
