application for a demolition permit in rei�ztion to the church at
ti'�i:i Isl ay Faven��e 5outh, based on the rational e that the property
possesses su+ficient cultural resource value to warrant its
designation as an historic site; that its �tabili�atian,
prot�ction, and rehabiiitation would be in the pub'tic interest;
and that th� abatement situation was caused �y the owner�s
deterrin� maintenance and not bv natur^al causes. 5econded bv Mr.

a con��nsus that the cemetery possess�s signi{icant culturai
resource value on the basis o�t its distinguishing qualities o�f
lanciscape architecture and grav� stone art, and that th�
careta.k:er's sheds contribute to the historic character of th?
cem�t�ry ev�n i�� they ar� not in ��act th� structural rEmains oi�

rir. Lewis moved that the committee recnmmend registration of
t�he Lotta��e vrove Cemeter ��/Lvc��im Ha71 to the Cit;; Fiegister o+
� Histaric Sites and LandmarE::s. Seconded t�y Mr. Schnide. Motion
