On Janu- ary 3, 2014, Councilmember Derrick Lehrke and staff members Ryan BurFeind and Emily Schmitz interviewed Brandon Smith for one of the vacant seats. Mr. Smith has six years of work experience in environmental regulation and is a Registered Engineer in Minnesota licensed in the environmental engineering field. Recommendation Council Liaison Derrick Lehrke recommends the appointment of Brandon Smith to fulfill a vacant term on the Environmental Commission ending February 28, 2014. He would be eligible to be reappointed to three two-year terms on the Environ- mental Commission.
