STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Authorize issuance of the massage therapist license. During the required background investigation, no facts were found that would constitute a basis for denial of the application. Ms. Josephson will be working at The Healing Place, 8617 West Point Douglas Road. BACKGROUND Pursuant to City Ordinance, Jessica Nicole Josephson, 366 Leeward Trail So, Woodbury MN 55125, has submitted an application for a Massage Therapist License to be independently contracted by The Healing Place of Cottage Grove, 8617 West Point Douglas Road, Cottage Grove, MN. The Department of Public Safety is required to conduct a police investigation of the applicant. DISCUSSION The application of Jessica Nicole Josephson, as submitted, is complete and in compliance with our ordinance. We have investigated the applicant and have not found any facts, which would constitute a basis for denial of a Massage Therapist License, under the provisions of the City Ordinance.
