Due to recent openings on the Commission, two seats for youth from the community can be added, which offers opportunity to include insight and ideas on environmental goals and issues from a versatile group of community members. These seats will also offer a connection to elementary, middle, and high schools in the community for increased educational opportunities. The Environmental Commission, at their meeting on February 12, 2014, unanimously recommended amending the City Code to change the number of inembers on the Environmental Commission to seven and adding two youth seats. Recommendation Recommend that the City Council approve the ordinance amendment changing the number of inembers of the Environmental Commission to seven and adding two youth seats. ORDINANCE NO.
