City Administrator The City of Cottage Grove 7516—801 Street South Cottage Grove,MN 55015-3195 Subject: Cottage Grove Commercial Guidelines KKE No. 01-08-9231-01 Dear Ryan: It is a pleasure to present this proposal for architectural design services for your commercial developments in Cottage Grove. • Based on our conversation, we suggest the following scope of services: • Initial meetings with planning staff and council for brainstorming on a vision (two meetings) • • Preparation of visual materials to graphically depict the vision_ • Written architectural design guidelines. • Design of corner entry monumentation for the commercial intersection. • Selection of ornamental light fixtures and streetscape elements_ • Coordination with landowners to explain the vision. • Review of Home Depot submittal for design compliance. Based on the above scope of work, we estimate our fees to in the range of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) plus reimbursable expenses to billed on an hourly basis. We assume that as other developments or retailers in the area submit for approvals, we will be "on-call"as needed to review for compliance, and this work would be billed hourly as needed. We are excited about this opportunity and look forward to working together to deliver the vision. Yours very truly, ACCEPTED BY: KKE ARC IS 'r TS Ryan Schrader, City Administrator Kathy L.
