To Whom It May Concern,
I am requesting the donation of the out-of-service Jackts be donated to the Boy Scouts of America, for
the purpose of outfitting the scouts and adults who come fram a fow income bacl<ground. The Cottage
Grove Fire Department has an opportunity to give both scouCs and scouters the opportunity to attend a
camp they may not otherwise be able to. The jackets would be used at Northern Star Councils winter
camping programs; fVorthern Tier,Snow Base, and olar Cubs. They would be given to those in need to
use throughout thir stay at the camp, These camps are always in need of warm winter clothing,as
some of the attendans of said camps da not come adequateiy prepared whether it is because of a
financial hardship or poor preparation. Regardless, by donating these jackets, many scauts would be
given the opportunity to attend camp, make memories, and learn extremely valuable outdoor sl<ills and
life(essans.
Thank You foryour Consideratian,
