They are as follows: 1. Both roofing bidders on this project bid 10 squares short based on a misunderstanding of the contract. An additional 10 squares of roofing must be added to the contract. 2. The soils below the building were over-excavated during utility construction (under a separate contract from this project). In order to correct the soils prior to footings, the concrete contractor was required to haul in sand, pack and grade the pad. 3. During inspection review, it was identified that an additional floor drain would be required. 4. Several electrical needs were identified as the project began. Additional service was needed for the recreational facility equipment which was not in the originaf contract, vapor/vandal proof fixtures were requested by maintenance staff,temporary electrical connection to bridge the gap between services off of the old and new transformers and a minor upgrade to conduit to allow for wire room. Recommendation It is recommended to approve Change Order No. 1 in the value of an $11,450 addition to the 2015 Woodridge Building Project.
