BACKGROUND Pursuant to City Ordinance, Linnea Gamache, on behalf of Zion Lutheran Church, 8500 Hillside Trail South, Cottage Grove MN 55016, 651-459-3010, has submitted an application for a Temporary Single Occasion gambling permit, for the conduct of a raffle, to be held at Zion Lutheran Church, located at 8500 Hillside Trail South, Cottage Grove, Minnesota 55016, on Saturday, September 26, 2015. The Department of Public Safety is required to conduct a police investigation of the applicants. DISCUSSION The application, as submitted, is complete, in compliance with our ordinance and is exempt from the licensing requirements of the Minnesota Charitable Gambling Control Board. We have investigated the applicants and have not found any facts which would constitute a basis for denial of this application, under the provisions of the City's Gambling Ordinance.
