RE: Historic Preservationist of the Year Plaque
Background
The Advisory Committee on Historic Preservation annually nominates a person or organ-
ization who goes above and beyond to promote an aspect of Cottage Grove's history that
helps to share our understanding and general knowledge of the people and places of our
past.
For 2016, the ACHP unanimously nominated Wayne and Angi Butt. The draft text for their
plaque is attached. The plaque will be presented at the May 18, 2016, City Council
meeting.
Recommendation
Review the draft plaque and attend the May 18 City Council meeting, if you are able.
