The equipment has been�ully depreciated and has a total estimated value af$4�,842.fl0. Should the City Council accept this donatic�n, the int�nt woulci be t� incarpc�rate the equiprnent into the existing Fire stations or stare it at fire station 4 until t�re prc�pc�sed Fire Station 2 facility is constructed. Discussion The physical dernands of Firefighting and Emergency Medieal Services are best met when our first responders maintain an c�ptimal Isvel of physical fitness. ldentified in the Councils st�ategic plan, Ccattage Grove's mission is to pravide excellence in the delivery of public services, through reforming the city's organizati�nal culture an�i working to improve city employee's physica� and rn�ntal wellness in vrder to better provide public services. The owners of SNAP Fitness, Faamati and Mark Vtliney of Koleni, In�. DBA SNAP Fitness at 1� High Paint Road, Dellwood, MN 55110 recognize the irnportance of physically fit firs# respc�nders and wish to dsanate 29 pieces of comrnereial grade exercise equipment having an estimated value c�f$45,842.00}. Purchas�d new this equipment wcauld cost aver$95,000.t}{}. A letter of intent fram the Winey's and a c�►mpiete list of the e�uipment being dona#ecf is attached for reference. The equipment has been inspec#ed and is in excellent condition. Pending appravals, the Fire station 2 replacement prc�ject would include a fitness area.
