Grove area businesses to purchase each sworn police officer and the department's K9

The following businesses raised $1,900.00 and wish to donate the pendants to the City

& PerFormance, Old Tyme Fudge & Ice Cream, The Healing Place and Park Grove
Animal Hospital and Selvig's jewelry supplier, Stuller, Inc. who gave 20 % off the
pendants/chains.
In turn, the donors wish the pendants be given to each officer and one for K9 Gunnar.
In accordance with MN Statute 471.895 and the League of MN Cities guidelines, Cities
may accept gifts of real or personal property and use them in accordance with the terms
prescribed by the donor. A resolution accepting the gift and the donor's terms must
receive an affirmative vote of two thirds of the members of the council.
