Staff Recommendation:Presentation of check from Afton Apple fall fundraising in the amount of$5,321 to the
Cottage Grove Public Safety Board for fire department education.

Staff Recommendation:Approve the January 4, 2017 City Council Regular Meeting Minutes.
B Arts Commission Meeting Minutes
Staff Recommendation:Receive and place on file the approved minutes for the Arts Commission meeting on
December 6, 2016.
C Schedule Local Open Book Meeting and Acknowledge Regional Meetings
Staff Recommendation:Schedule an Open Book meeting at Cottage Grove City Hall located at 12800 Ravine
Parkway, Cottage Grove, on Thursday,April 6, 2017 from 5-7 p.m., and acknowledge the following three(3)
regional meetings held in the County:City of Oakdale- Wednesday,April 12, 2017 from 5-7 p.m.;City of Woodbury
—Thursday,April 20, 2017 from 5-7 p.m.;and City of Stillwater— Wednesday,April 26, 2017 from 2-7 p.m.
D Accept Donations Fourth Quarter 2016
Staff Recommendation:Adopt Resolution 2017-003 accepting donations received in the Fourth Quarter of 2016.
E Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Trail Grooming Equipment Donation
Staff Recommendation:Accept donation from Conway and Katherine Olson in the amount of$11,000 towards the
purchase of cross country ski and snowshoe trail grooming equipment.
F Presbyterian Homes Land Exchange Agreement Closing Date Extension
Staff Recommendation:Adopt Resolution 2017-004 extending the closing date for the Land Exchange Agreement
with Presbyterian Homes an additional 90 days.
G Reappointment of Myron Bailey to Economic Development Authority
Staff Recommendation:Reappoint Myron Bailey to the Economic Development Authority.
