RE: Neighborhood Conservation Districts
Introduction
The City Council has requested a comparison sheet of the pros and cons of establishing a
historic or conservation district in Old Cottage Grove. Based on the vision and boundaries of the
district as proposed by the ACHP, and the varied types and ages of structures in the district, it
appears as if a Neighborhood Conservation District would be a better path to follow. The table
below is the beginning of the requested comparison list.
Discussion
The ACHP is requested to suggest additional line items for the table.
