REGULAR MEETING – 2:00 P.M. (Via Teams)
1. CALL TO ORDER
Called to order by Committee chair Jennifer Levitt at 1402 hours.
2. ROLL CALL
Committee members present: Clint Gridley (Woodbury), Pete Koerner (Cottage Grove), Lee
Vague (Woodbury), Jennifer Levitt (Cottage Grove), Robin Roland (Cottage Grove), and Angela Gorall
(Woodbury).
Others present: Dan Anselment (HERO Manager), Kris Mienert (Woodbury), Greg Rinzel
(Cottage Grove) and Bri Zeterlu (HERO Admin Training Coordinator)
3. PRESENTATIONS
None
4. CONSENT AGENDA
A. HERO FOC Meeting Minutes – February 16, 2021
Staff Recommendation: Approve the Meeting Minutes from February 16, 2021 regular meeting
B. HERO Financial Statements
Recommendation: Receive Information
C. HERO 2020 Annual Report
Recommendation: Accept the HERO 2020 Annual Report
Motion to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion by Gridley, 2nd by Koerner. Motion
carried 6 to 0.
6. APPROVE DISBURSEMENTS
A. Approve payments from 2/12/2021 to 4/15/2021 in the amount of $37,854.08.
Motion to approve disbursements. Motion by Vague, 2nd by Roland.
Motion carried 6 to 0.
7. REGULAR AGENDA
A. FIRST QUARTER OPERATIONAL UPDATE
1. Public Range Hour Change
Recommendation: to change range hours from 10-8pm to 10-6pm on Saturdays
• Anselment advised that range has approximately 330 customers per month.
• Anselment advised that the range is currently operating at 36% with only 1.3% on Saturdays
between 6PM-8PM.
Motion to approve Public Range Hour Change. Motion by Roland, 2nd by Gridley.
Motion carried 6 to 0.
2. Facility Fee Schedule Review
Recommendation: Provide staff direction on fee schedule.
• Anselment inquired about removing the 3% increase from the Federal contract until a fee rate
increase is approved by the FOC.
• Anselment stated that he would need fee schedule direction by June due to the Federal group’s
contract being due in July 2021.
• Gridley requested that the FOC discuss fee schedules for the upcoming year in the 4th quarter,
possibly in August prior to other agencies biding for their 2022 schedules.
No motion, proposed that the fee schedule be re-evaluated in the fourth quarter of 2021
3. Review catering and advertising options
Recommendation: Provide staff direction
• Anselment requested that the River Oaks Cottage Grove catering be utilized for the HERO
catering events
Motion to approve catering options. Motion by Gridley, 2 nd by Roland.
Motion carried 6 to 0.
8. ADJOURNMENT
Motion to adjourn at 1426 hours by Roland, 2nd by Gridley. Motion carried 6 to 0.
