Meeting, January 7, 202 City Administrator Levitt, Community Development Director
Costello, Parks & Recreation Director Docktor, Police
Captain McAlister, and Assistant Mann met with Jennifer
Flaherty from Hope For Brave to talk about the program and
potential opportunities in the City.
Meeting, January 13, 2022 City Administrator Levitt and Assistant Mann met with Paul
Newman about potential advertising opportunities in Site
Selector Magazine.
Meeting, January 19, 2022 Assistant Mann joined the Cottage Grove Area Chamber of
Commerce Community Showcase committee and attended
the first planning meeting.

Assistant Mann talked to a potential purchaser of the EDA
land at 7470 East Point Douglas Road. They are looking at
moving their restaurant from St. Paul to Cottage Grove.
Meeting, January 28, 2022 City Administrator Levitt and Assistant Mann attended the
Washington County Economic Development Advisory
Committee meeting.
Open to Business Office
Hours, February 2, 2022
Tyler Hilsabeck from the Metropolitan Consortium of
Community Developers resumed office hours at City Hall
with the Open to Business program. Office hours will be
held the first Wednesday of each month from 9am to noon.

2022
Mayor Bailey, Councilmember Thiede, Councilmember
Khambata, City Administrator Levitt, Public Safety Director
Koerner, Chief Building Official McLean, Communications
Manager Longaecker, Community Engagement Officer
Schoen, and Assistant Mann attended the ribbon cutting to
celebrate the grand opening of Caribou Cabin at 7702 80th
Street.
