Good Evening Tammy, My name is Jacob Robinson and my wife, Kristin Robinson, reside at 950179th St S, Cottage Grove, MN. Please accept this email as our written formal objection to the special assessment that is being charged the property owners for this maintenance project. We object to this project because it does not meet the Special Benefit Requirement. Respectfully, Jacob and Kristin Robinson Sent from my iPhone Attn: City of Cottage Grove — Special Assessments I am writing to submit my formal objection regarding the road repair project in the Prestige Estates neighborhood of Cottage Grove. The project does not provide a special benefit to property owners and therefore cannot be brought forward as a special assessment. Any property value gained from the roadwork (if any) is simply gaining back property value that's been lost due to the degradation of the road which is owned by the city. This is a maintenance project that contains no special benefit to property owners. In addition, the suggested improvement amount is highly questionable and unreasonable. The city, nor the appraiser hired by the city, has provided analysis, documentation, or any information that supports the proposed property value increase. Any attempt by the City of Cottage Grove to proceed with this project as a special assessment will be met with legal opposition in court. Eli & Nicole Weinmann 9498 79" St S
