There was a repavement project that also added some gutters in Eagan, but I was told by Eagan PID to refer the matter about parking to McNamara Contracting, which Jeremy, their project manager, state that the "no parking" sign (which was not even up to MUCTID Code and not even enforceable) was meant for the area immediately surrounding a location where they intend to install a gut- ter, and that the repaving of the street was about a month away and claimed that there would be ample no- tice before work begins. However, after 2 weeks of parking in the area without a problem, I ran an errand at 2 PM and didn't see any signs when I came back, they just simply put up more flimsy "no parking" signs with NO warning about the potential of your car being towed at approximately 5 PM according to my car's dash cam, then began work around 10 AM and my car was towed by Mark's Towing, so that's only 18 hours of warning, or 6 hours short of the 24 hour notice*, which caused lots of undue stress and is very irresponsi- ble of both McNamara and Mark's Towing. *MN Statute 16813.035, Subd. 3 Towing Prohibited. That said, today was a near miss with your truck #T49 on Hwy 3; in Farmington. Your driver de- cided that his dump truck was instead a sports car and required him to cut me off from the right lane instead of yielding to me in the left (through) lane. I captured it on dash cam where we had to hard brake because of this. He knew as I saw him looking at me from his side mirror. Then from that point all the way to where he turned off in Rosemount he was again driving like he was in an Audi or BMW going through the roundabouts at a rate of speed which caused him to go over the curbs and sidewalks of these roundabouts. You promote safety yet this driver has obviously not listened. You can do better! On June 6th McNamara Contracting was do- ing some road work in the Lakeville, MN area. Their em- ployees not only guided myself and other vehicles down a one lane of traffic.... with on coming tragfic coming at us, then (from behind us as a 4 way stop) guided us to the right side of the road. On the right side of the road a truck had just sprayed something on this road. Not knowing we couldnt drive through this, several of us did. I noticed I had a tar like substance on my van, tan it through a car wash tried getting this off. It did not work! Mind you I have had my van less than 6 months! I called and talked to Jordan with their company and was told we will have to agree to disagree and have a nice night!! COMPLETE BS!!!!! Thank you!! To whom it may concern, After hearing about the bidding taking place to go through McNamara Construction, I would like to say that there HAS to be another company out there that doesn't have the awful and reviews that this company has. When googling this company there were practically 2 negative reviews for every one positive reviews. We, as a community, will need to he dealing with the workers on a daily basis and if they are as rude as what Is spoken about in these reviews, you all are picking the wrong company. I am a concerned resident of HV and would rather the project be done correctly and well versus crappy and cheap. And this company sounds like they do the latter of both options. More than likely you are going to go with company, but I would then be prepared to brace yourselves for complaints from upset residents of HV.
