The quotes are based on 97 trees planted, mulched, and watered. Each tree wiil have a one-season guarantee. All but four trees are 1-3/4" caliper. (These four are 2" caliper and slated for repiacements on the Jamaica Avenue median.) Hoffman & McNamara Co. Gerten Greenhouses Midwest Landscapes $19,720.00 $18,543.98 $16,525.97 Although Midwest Landscapes has never done a street tree planting for the city, I feel the savings are substantial and we should go with them at this time. The specifications shouid be tight enough to ensure good quality trees for the city.
