Total budgeted amount for both vehicles and dump body is $52,000.00 The City is eligible to purchase these vehicles through the 1998 Minnesota Materials Management Division Contract. Falls Automotive, Fergus Fails, MN has been awarded muitiple state contracts. As you and i have discussed and agreed upon, the recommendation would be to ask Council for approval to purchase one new pickup cab and chassis for the street department and one new pickup for the water department from Falls Automotive, Inc. for a total purchase price of $43,115.70, which includes trade-in and sales tax.
