RESOLUTION NO. 98-XX
RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 98-141, ADOPTING 1998 PAY
PLAN AND BENEFITS FOR EMPLOYEES NOT COVERED BY A LABOR
CONTRACT FOR THE CITY OF COTTAGE GROVE
WHEREAS, on February 4, 1998, the Mayor and City Council adopted
Resolution No. 98-09, the 1998 pay plan for non-represented employees; and
WHEREAS, on April 1, 1998, the City Council adopted Resolution 98-40,
which made minor changes and corrections to the pay plan as adopted under
Resolution 98-09; and
WHEREAS, on June 24, 1998 the City Council adopted Resolution 98-88,
which added the position of Chief Buiiding Official to the pay plan; and
WHEREAS, on August 19, 1998, the City Councii adopted Resolution No.
98-141, wnich added the Financial Analyst position to the pay plan; and
WHEREAS, the position of Accountant needs to be deleted from the pay
plan for non-represented employees; and
WEHREAS, the PersonneltEconomic Development Secretary pay range
needs to be adjusted; and
WHEREAS, effective September 16, 1998, the pay plan for non-
represented employees be amended as follows:
ARTICLE 1:
PAY SCHEDULE: In Section 2, delete Accountant from Pay
Grade VIi.

to the pay plan.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of
Cottage Grove, County of Washington, State of Minnesota, that this Resolution
No. 98-XX amend Resolution 98-09, Resolution Adopting 1998 Pay Plan and
Benefits for Employees Not covered by a labor contract for the City of Cottage
Grove. This resolution shall become effective September 17, 1998, and shall
remain in effect until amended by the City Council.
