COUNCIL ACTION TAKEN: ❑ APPROVED ❑ DENIED ❑ OTHER RESOLUTION NO. 98- RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION OF MONEY FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY WHEREAS, there was a recent incident of vandalism at the City of Cottage Grove, Kingston Park pavilion, and WHEREAS, a reward fund has been established for information leading to the conviction of suspects involved in vandalism incidents at Kingston Park, and WHEREAS, the Lions Club of Cottage Grove, has donated a check in the amount of $500.00 to the Department of Public Safety, and WHEREAS, the City of Cottage Grove, on behalf of the Department of Pubiic Safety, accepts the donated money and recommends that it be placed in the reward fund for vandalism incidents at Kingston Park. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Councii of the City of Cottage Grove, County of Washington, State of Minnesota, that said Councii accept, on behalf of the Department of Public Safety, the donation in the amount of $50G.00.
