Dear Mr. Julkowski:
In response to your November 4, 1998, prese�tation to City Councii members, it will be your
responsibility to file 211 the appropriate applications for any development proposai you wish to
pursue. The documents listed below are enclosed for your use:
. 1999 Pianning Commission Schedule
. 1999 �and Development Fees and Charges Handout
• Comprehensive Plan Amendment Application ($600.00 filing fee)
. Zoning Text Rmendment (Rezoning) Application {$600.00 filing fee)
• Site Plan Review Application ($250.00 filing fee)
. Variance Appiication ($200.00 filing fee)
• Conditional Use Permit Application ($350.00)
. Preliminary Plat Application ($500.00 plus $2,000 deposit)
. Final Pla# Application ($200.00 filing fee)
Any development proposal you decide to pursue will require the appropriate application(s) to
be completed, including the submittal of all required plans and supporting documents to be
filed with our office. Any appiication that does not include all required attachments (e.g.
grading, landscaping, site plan, boundary survey, plats, utilities, building construction, etc.)
and associated application fee payment wiii be deemed incomplete and will not be accepted.
As a reminder, the variance application the City approved on September 20, 1995 (Resolution
No. 95-172) for your mini-storage proposal is no longer valid per the condition stipulated in
this resolution and according to Section 28-12(h) of the Citys Zoning Ordinance. The City of
Cottage Grove will not initiate the filing of any appiication on your behalf.
Our records show that most of the enciosed information was previously mailed to you on
August 27, 1997 and June 2, 1998. We will be glad to meet with you again to discuss your
project or to answer any questions you may have.

This response will be on the December 16, 1998 City Council agenda. Council members wiil
be asked to receive and place on pubiic record this letter as a response to previously raised
open forum issues. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be in the Council Chambers of
City Hall.
