STAFF RECOMMENDATION Issue liquor licenses subject to compliance with State and Local Liquor Laws, satisfactory completion of police and fire investigations/inspections, and payment of all outstanding financial obligations by 12:00 p.m. (noon), Friday, December 28, 2001, as outlined in the attached memo from the City Clerk. A license issued by the City expires on December 31 of each year and is subject to annual renewal. Annually, the Department of Public Safety conducts the required investigation of liquor license applications and premises. In addition, the City Clerk undertakes an administrative investigation to determine whether an applicant has any outstanding financial obligations. Subject to compliance with State and Local Liquor Laws, satisfactory completion of the required police investigation, fire inspection, and payment of outstanding financial obligations by noon Friday 12/28/01, staff recommends the Council authorize renewal and issuance of �iquor licenses for the period January 1, 2002 through December 31, 2002, for the following establishments: 1. Boondocks Bar & Grill -"On Sale" and "Off Sale" 3.2 Beer License. 2. Cottage Grove VFW Post 8752 -'On Sale" Club and 'On Sale" Special Sunday Intoxicating Liquor License subject to payment of September, October and November Gambling Contributions. 3. Cub Foods, "Off Sale" 3.2 Beer License. 4. DeMori's -'On Sale" Intoxicating and 'On Sale" Special Sunday Intoxicating Liquor License subject to payment of 2002 license fees. 5.
